Get to know whose behind the blog

I'm Sophia, a 21 year old from New Jersey who always enjoyed admiring fashion from (a bit more) than an arms length distance, along with a variety of other interests. I'm a personal advocate for people being the purest and truest form of themselves. Whether that be through the clothes they wore, or they way they walked.
Fashion has always been a interest of mine. Ever since I was young, I would find myself going down rabbit holes about different street wear trends ranging from U.S./ European fashion trends, to the auvauntgard Harajuku fashion in Japan. I've always been fascinated by how others are able to pull pieces together and create beautiful silhouettes and unique outfits.
I'm well known amongst my friends and family for having an abundance of useless information on topics that make no sense for me to know, like I created a blog for those like me, who love to deep dive into topics ranging from fashion trends, pop culture, and so on.
So before delving into other topics, feel free to take some time and get to know me!

A Young Fashionista
From a young age, I've always had a eye for style and fashion, demanding my mom and grandma to watch as I mixed and matched my costumes to create different outfits and pieces. My grandma even being surprised by how creative and good some of the things I was able to pull together.

Creative
Once I have a vision in my head, its like a itch that I need to scratch. From making my own costumes as a kid, to finally being able to make my own. I always had a creative knack to be able to create something out of nothing.

Athletic and Competitive
Growing up my family had one rule, you have to do one after school activity. Originally I was in ballet until my mom signed me up for competitive cheerleading. The fast pace, glitter, bows, cute uniforms, and the physical challenge of the sport immediately had my full attention. It became a healthy outlet for my competitive nature and challenged me both mentally and physically. Almost instantaneously I dropped dance and cheerleading became my main focus. To this day physical movement and training is one of the main ways I relieve stress.

Thickheaded
I never really fit in, and I never really cared. From the start I've always been one to dance to the beat of my own drum. I wore what I wanted to, and no one could tell me otherwise. As I've grown up I've definitely calm down, however it still finds a way to shine though, through my stubborn mindset and love for competition. when someone tells me I can't do something, it drives me to do it, and to do it better than they could ever do it. This ultimately was the reason i started to get into video games and other nerd stuff, when someone told me that it was "for boys", resulting in me researching everything their is to know about games and comic books.

Animal Lover
I'm a giant animal (and nature) lover. Despite my interest and hobbies (which you'd think I'd end up living in the city to pursue) My dream is to have my own farm. I find peace in the simplicity of a simple life and not having to rely heavily on grocery shopping for my own food, which might be a struggle due to my love for fast food and junk food.
Moving forward with his blog (and other projects) I hope to inspire and encourage other people to do what they love, weather its related to this blog or not.
